|Emilio M. D. López, Jr., BSChE, MBA|
Emilio received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a Master in Business Administration from Baylor University. His career experience includes the Printed Circuit Board, Telecommunications, Food & Beverage Service, and Education industries. Emilio began his career in Dallas, TX as a Process Engineer in a PCB manufacturing environment where he literally got his feet wet in the Plating, Soldering, and Imaging processes. After 3 years, he was recruited as an Applications Engineer, where he supported clients' wet processing and precious metal plating departments. After a successful career in Process Engineering, Emilio moved to Tempe, AZ where he was tasked to optimize the Engineering support operations of a PCB manufacturer. Upon completion of his one year contract he returned to Dallas to pursue a position within a privately-owned Telecommunications company. There, he optimized the Engineering support operations and, with a staff of six, he and his team managed to peak at $4.2 million (annual) within a 4-year period - this through several downturns in the Telecom industry. Emilio later took an opportunity to get back into the corporate world in the Food and Beverage Service industry where he was the Sr. Manager over the Equipment Engineering group. Today, he uses this extensive business background to serve his community in the Education arena. Emilio speaks, reads, and writes English and Spanish.
