Use RefWorks to manage citations and create bibliographies.


RefWorks allows you to create a simple bibliography that can be copied and pasted into a document.

To create a bibliography, click the Quotation Mark icon then choose the Create Bibliography option:

This option will create a bibliography for all of the references in your currently selected folder. Check the citation style before copying the bibliography to ensure you are using the proper one for your course & assignment. RefWorks defaults to MLA 8th Edition.

RefWorks provides plug-ins for Microsoft Word and Google Docs that allow you to insert and edit citations directly into a document.

To access these tools, click on the Wrench icon and select the Tools option:

When you select the Tools option, you'll be directed to a list of tools, including the Word and Google Docs plug-ins:
